This is a full size handmade violin. It does not have a label, but I can tell that it is a Romanian violin. It has a warm mellow sounding voice that is very pleasing to the ear. The tone is even across the strings and the A string is warm and smooth. The violin has no bad notes, it plays easily and clearly all the way up into the highest positions. It is in excellent condition with no cracks or other damage and it will come with a nice case and bow. 4/4 full size used violin with label "A.R.Seidel, Mittenwald OBB, Hand made copy of Antonius Stradivarius, West Germany 1993. Glaesel Shop Adjusted, model VI31. Except for a few light nicks in the top varnish the violin is in excellent condition and very lightly used. Comes with the original molded hard case, also in excellent condition. A Kotz violin that is approx 100 years old. The back length is 14 3/8" and the scale length 13" which makes this full size. This violin has a one piece back and a small elongated scroll. Sound of the violin is deep, even and clear. The violin had it bass bar replaced and the plates tuned by a Graduate of The Violin Making School of America. Appraised value of $6k. Asking $4,500 and it would be hard to find a better sounding violin at that price. I will email pictures on request.
