This is a full size violin made in Germany 2002 by Walter Mahr. This is a beautiful violin that is well made. It is in excellent condition with no cracks or repairs. The violin is even across the strings and has a loud powerful tone that is not too bright or too dark. Would be suitable for an advanced player. Will come with case and bow. Video to come soon! An early 4/4 size Jackson-Guldan violin ca. 1920's-1930's made in Columbus, OH. This is one of their higher grade carved violins with a moderately well flamed back, ebony fittings, inlaid purfling,fully blocked and lined. Not to be confused with the lower grade Jackson Guldan violins from the 1940's & 1950's which had pressed plates, plain wood, white wood trimmings and painted on purfling. This pre WWII violin has no cracks anywhere. Potential buyers must refer to this instrument by the name "Jackson Guldan 4/4" to avoid spam e mails. Price is $275.00 firm, plus shipping cost. 4/4 Size A.R. Seidel handmade copy of Antonius Stradivarius 1990. Come with hard black case, bow, chin rest and rosin. This is a very good student violin. I played with it for three years in my High School Orchestra. I only bought a new one to play in college. Some minor body damage, but the sound is still very good. My daughter has outgrown her 1/4 size violin and we are in need of a 1/2 size student violin. She has a good ear and can tell the difference between different quality violins so I need a student violin with reasonably good sound (not interested in Cecilio).
