This violin that I am selling is a full size student violin. This violin has a very nice voice. I am quite impressed with it. The tone is very even across the strings and it is very mellow, but at the same time very clear as well. It is very easy to play and there are no bad notes. I'm very impressed with the quality of tone that this violin has. It would be an excellent step up for an intermediate player, or for a beginner who wants to start out with something better. The price is $300 plus shipping

This violin has a wonderful look and sound and is well worth the reduced price. Excellent for beginning-intermediate violinist. Violin has new strings and is ready for playing. Case in good condition, with a few minor scuffs on the outside. Interior is red with one pocket that has a little rosin in it. Very nice. Comes with one bow. $175 (I had this violin appraised at Sylvan Music in Santa Cruz @$250 last week). Appraised at $5500, selling at only $3900! Instrument has been owned by a cello teacher. Papers are included. Made circa 1910 in Berlin, Germany by the Lowendahl workshop, this instrument has a fabulous tone and projection and warmth you simply cannot get on a new instrument. It's recently had some refurbishment done by a luthier, so it's playing in top form with a brand new professional setup on it. It's a very good instrument and I'm simply making a little bit of room in my collection. I can ship the cello UPS if necessary, though I'd prefer a local buyer.
