Fully carved cello purchased new in 2000. Top, sides and back are carved from specially selected maple. They are varnished with a golden amber finished. It is accented with an ebony fingerboard, pegs, tailpiece and button, with for fine adjusters for strings. The Prelude bow is made of Brazil wood and strung with horse hair. The frog is made of ebony with silver/nickel trim and a leather grip. Comes with a Kaces III padded bag with two bow pockets and several other pockets. Cello stand also included. The value of the entire package is $3000+, but I am willing to sell for $2000. E-mail with any questions! This cello is beautiful!

Pre 1920's Nippon Violin 4/4 Sounds good. the Nipons can be really good sounding violins. Not exceptionally loud but great tone. Plays easily well setup. Was going for $475.00 several years ago on the Elderly Instruments webpage. Hard case included no bow. This is a beautiful violin - the label says Bill Lucchini handmade in the workshop of Los Angeles String Instruments. This is my BEST violin that I have for sale and I have been using it to practice on. It is extremely well made with a gorgeous one piece back. There are no cracks or repairs. The tone is deep and rich. The two lower strings are warm and dark, while the two upper strings are bright and clear. This violin can really sing! Parents this would be an excellent step up for your intermediate to advanced student! Price is $750.00 Violin comes with a nice oblong case.
