I am selling my son's 1/8 violin as he has outgrown it. One owner only and in very good condition from smoke-free home. The violin is a Romanian-made Genial I oil from the Gliga violin makers. All the fittings are ebony and there is real (not painted on purfing). I have added 4 fine tuners ($15), a Kun shoulder rest ($20)and an extra bow. The label inside of the violin reads Wilhelm Duerer fecit Eisleben anno 1902. There is a trademark on the left side of the label. It is the dollar sign in a circle embedded in a triangle with a three pointed crown at the top. Luthiery work included a bridge refit, pegs refit, a new nut, the fingerboard was shaved and a new sound post was installed. There were repairs made to tail piece cracks. New parts include new pegs, sound post, bridge, tailpiece and chin rest. It was then cleaned and polished. Price is $2900. Pics at website. I do good business and accept payment via Paypal. Eastman VL-905 G (4/4 Guarnerius Model made by Ling Wang in 2006) is for sale. Beautiful antiqued oil finish in brand new condition, only have had several trial plays for 1 month. Exceptional tone and projection. Selling because we got another violin as a gift. The violin will come with a nice brasilwood bow in its original case (new), which is not that good. Flawless Franz Sandner 3/4 violin. Made in Germany in 1998! Not US or anywhere else! Comes with a Knilling violin case, Wolf shoulder rest, and a glasser bow. I am looking for violins made by Wade Childress. Offering up to $15k (or more if reasonable) depending on the quality, tone, etc. I have recently tried one of my friend's Wade Childress violin in orchestra practice and was very pleased with the sound. I have sadly heard that Wade is a retired maker but I would greatly appreciate it if anyone has any information on his whereabouts.
