Fine 2005 Gliga Maestro violin. Revoiced for maximum tonal possibilities. Gold-orange varnish, amazing flamed maple back, ribs, neck and scroll. One of the prettier Gliga violins I've seen. The scroll is carved in the shape of a girls head with a long braid going down the back of the scroll. There are lovely carvings in all the corners as well as both ends on the back. Perfect shape. Ebony fittings with white trim. Nice strong rich voice all the way up the scale. Great for any type of playing. Email me for more info and for pictures.

Beautiful Gasparo Da Salo replica violin. about 130 years old, very little damage. Red-brown varnish with a gold undertone. Gorgeous flamed maple back, ribs, neck and scroll. top is medium grained spruce. Double purfling with an inlaid design on the back. Very skillfully carved floral/vine design carved on the cheeks and back of the scroll. Rich bass voice, clear strong, sweet treble voice. Perfect for soloing or Orchestra music. Reinhold Geipel Sohn, Fleissen, Bohmen 1883. Very fine example of this makers work. 124 years old, not a crack on it. The varnish is in very good, shape, a few minor blemishes and wear. Lovely light brown/red color. Medium to wide grained spruce top. Nicely flamed maple back, ribs and neck, scroll is nearly plain. Ebony fittings, bone trim on tailpiece.
