I have a Franz Sandner Violin that was made in 1993. It has the most beautifully rich tone I have heard from a violin in this price range. Absolutely effortless to play. It is valued at over $2000 but there is a small 1/4" X 5/8" rub through the varnish on the right side. Because of this I'm selling it for $1400. The tone is superb and a great bargain for anyone looking for a great sounding, beautiful violin. If you live in the area you may email me to setup a time to play it.

Nice old Maggini model violin. Mid 1800s. Beautifully flamed maple back, ribs, neck and scroll. Light brown varnish. Scroll has an extra turn in it, double purfling. Desings painted all over it in the late 1800s. Ribs and scroll cheeks have a criss-cross pattern all around, back of scroll has a shield painted on it. the back has a large coat of arms type pattern on it with vine designs all around it. Nice sound, very mellow and strong (but clear) in the bass ends, clear and strong in the high ends. email me for more info plus pictures.

I sell a 3/4 Violin of Ezabel, Antverp, Belgium as a complete Set with Bow which is from Paesold, Brazil and a violin case. It is a Strato Deluxe Case also possible to use for an 4/4 violin. Original Price: 300 euro, black, lockable and lined with blue velvet. The violin, the bow and the case are bought 2002 (I am the first owner), they are well-rehearsed and as good as new. I sell this set with a complet packet of new strings (Pirastro, original price 50 euro) and used Colofon. My offered Price for the whole set: 950 euro.

Fine old American violin by Hurlburt. Medium brown-red varnish, beautiful, narrow, really strong flamed back, ribs, neck and scroll. fine-medium grained spruce top. Very sad to see this one go. Wolff Bros No. 2503 1895 Exceptionally beautiful flamed maple back, ribs, neck and scroll. Medium grained spruce top. Dark honey colored varnish. Very sweet, smooth voice, powerful when you need it to be. Two cracks, one coming from the right side of the saddle, one from the bottom hole of the right f-hole towards the edge, very minor, very well repaired. Fine modern Chinese violin. Has been revoiced for optimum tonal possibilities. Strikingly beautiful flamed maple back, neck and scroll. Ribs are plain maple with a vine pattern all around. The top is of medium grained spruce. The varnish is medium red-gold-brown. Guarneri pattern. Lovely sweet but powerful sound all the way up the scale. Great for any type of playing. Small Beethoven portrate carved and darkened into the back, very beautiful, very nice violin. Email me for more info and for pictures.
