This is a cute little 1/2 black violin. It is in excellent condition. I just tuned it up and played it before writing this ad, and it played very nicely! $175 3/4 size violin "E.R.Pfretzschner, Mittenwald, Germany OBB Hand made copy of Antonius Stradivarius, West Germany. Roth Shop Adjusted in Cleveland, Ohio, Model 301/C Date: 1/76 Reg. # S-20653”. This was purchased new and played for a year before moving to a full size. The violin is in excellent condition with few minor scratches. It has a beautiful flair back, ebony finger board and rosewood Roth Caspari pegs with 4 built-in tuners. Tone is mature and really beautiful! This is a very beautiful European Style student violin. It is in excellent condition and would make a great violin for the beginner or intermediate player. The violin is Chinese made, but it is all quality craftmanship: excellent edge work, fine inlayed purfling on the table and back with bee-sting corners, crisply cut f-holes, and it is lined and blocked. The wood is excellent: fine grain spruce on the table with wonderful flamed maple on the ribs, back, neck and scroll. The violin will come with a new bow and a nice oblong case. Price is $250 plus $30 for insured priority shipping.
