This is a really nice full size violin. It just had $200 worth of work put into it last summer, which included soundpost adjustment, a new custom fitted bridge, and a new fingerboard. It is in very nice condition, with no cracks or other damage. Just the usual wear that comes from lots of playing. This violin is probably around 50 years old, but I'm not real sure of the age. The label has a whole bunch of writing on it. Email me for pictures and more informtation. This would be a great violin for intermediate-advanced players. Price is $750.00 Comes with a good case. This is a project violin. It's very beautiful, with a nice look to it. I am also amazed at how light it is, it's so delicate. However, the violin needs work put into it. I was able (with some effort) to get it to play and was able to play long enough to be very amazed with the tone! It has a gorgeous, deep rich tone. But I would say it is not in playable condition right now. The neck angle is off, making the strings too low for playing, and the scroll has been patched inside from a crack. Something needs to be done with the A peg because it's impossible to keep a string on it. With work this violin would offer a great reward in tone

This is a NICE little violin. It is very well made, and very pretty. The back is nicely flamed, it is well set up with a good bridge and Dominant strings. It has as very nice warm tone and plays so easily. It comes with a nice K Holtz fiberglass bow and a good hard case. The violin does have a crack on the top that has been glued and it is solid. It does not affect the tone. Price is $150.00 plus $25 for insured shipping.

Full size used Mathias Thoma violin, made in 1972 in West Germany. Very nice with some flaming on the back. Has a very nice and clear full tone. Nice and bright, but it still has a little mellowness to it. Very nice sound! It comes with a hardshell case and bow. All the hair on the bow is fine, but it is a lower end bow. New D'Addario strings. The top and sides of the violin have a few minor dings and scratches, but they are very small and none are deep into the wood. No cracks or chips of any kind.
