Lyon&Healy Eureka Violin 1912 #1013.Blocked and fully lined.Back is tight grained and highly figured tiger maple with no issues.Top is spruce with minimal cracks that have been well repaired.Finish has flaked with the grain slightly.Neck is newly planed and straight with good arch,bridge is of good height,pegs are new and expertly fitted,new tailpiece and chinrest of ebony.Worthy of daily play,sound quality excellent.Bow 1 marked Lyon&Healy Germany,Pernambuco 56grms silver-mounted ebony frog stick has repairs still plays well.Bow 2 new pernambuco pearl eye abalone inlays in ebony frog 58grms. This is a full size violin in excellent condition that was made by Ivan Dunov in Bulgaria, 1999. It has a deep, dark tone that is very pleasing to the ear. The violin is a delight to play and would be good for advancing violinists. It comes with an oblong Bobelock case. This violin was over $1500 new. I'm selling it for $750.00 and shipping will be $30 for insured priority mail.

This is a gorgeous 1971 16" Roman Teller viola in very good condition, not perfect, but very good. I had this instrument appraised 7 yrs ago for $3000, so it is probably worth more now. This violin was a gift, but I didn't quite take to it.The inside label reads "Vasile Gliga.fecit anno 2002.Reghin - Romania" and appears to bear the signature "Gliga." Has a beautiful one-piece back and from my friends who have played it, a "warm, dark sound that resonates, speaks clearly, and has good depth and breadth." An advanced-student instrument? Will ship in new case, NO BOW INCLUDED. i played (or tried to play) this violin only a few times, and thus is in absolute brand new condition, like it was made yesterday. Totally Mint! My friends tell me about $800 seems a fair price, or best offer.
