SOLD! Finely crafted 1/8 violin for a young artist <frchang@hotmail.com> - New York, NY USA - Friday, September 29, 2006

This is a dainty 1/8 Gliga Gama violin that my daughter out-grew 1.5 years ago. My daughter named the violin Sunset because of its striking beauty. It is neither a cheap beginner violin nor an expensive antique one. It is just a nice sounding, well made, and proper set-up modern instrument (2002) that will make your violin-inspired child very happy. I am asking $450 for the violin, a nice Brazilwood bow (was $75) and, a new light-weight backpack style case. The violin has a Wittner integrated (with four fine tuners) tailpiece and new Dominant strings. Please contact me only if you know that you will take a good care of Sunset.

Vintage Czech Strad <sparkstradingco@yahoo.com> - New York, NY USA - Tuesday, September 26, 2006

This vintage instrument (1920s or 30s) has no cracks, repaired cracks or repairs. It has a strong but mellow sound, just perfect for fiddling. Will also serve the advancing classical student who wants an upgrade. Old Czech fiddles like this are sought after for their tone, but it's getting real hard to find them in this good condition. Low price of $400 includes old but decent case and new brazilwood bow. Write for pics, info.
