Designed to Fill an entire music hall with power and sweetness, thisViolin was designed by the geigenbaumeister company and constructed by Erich Werner in 1993 in bubenreuth, Germany. Owned once before by the great Ivan Handy, a well known concert violinists this instrument has been well mantained for a long performance peak. It has been recently restrung for this auction with Obligatto strings, giving any future owner a head start in a rich tone.

This is a great sounding, very beautiful violin, with aged wood and a very deep,Italian varnish. The harmonics are all correct and it plays with a very strong sound. If you are a tentative player and take it easy, this is not for you. If you have the fire, this violin is for you. I am asking just 2400 with the case.
