Looking for a Violin made by a maker by the name of A.W. reitz.They arent too fabulous or anything Just a specific maker.Made violins around the Chicago area fromm about 1910 to 1928.Must be fair priced and doesnt need to be in playable condition.My Dad played one back in the 50s and 60 s and would love to have one for myself.

A mid 20th century Italian Violin. The back is one peice of quater cut maple with tight curl ascending from the left to the right. The neck and head match the back. The ribs are of a slightly less uniform figure. The table is fine grained spruce of a very regular grain. The varnish is a deep brownish red. Inside, the violin bears the following brands: "Manfredi Francesco Formigini (Modena) 1955" "MF" Handwritten across the brands are the makers signature and the signature "A. Giovanni". This Violin is in GOOD condition. Appraised in 1998 for $10,000.00. For sale to loving home. If interested, please contact me!

My grandfather was the original owner. Execelent condition. Original bow is not usable but is included in purchase along with another bow which I used when I played. Replacement bow was bought for about $400 in 1987. Case is included. Appraised in 1984 at $4,000. Will sell for $4,500 US dollars + shipping. Buyer is responsible for shipping and insurance. I have a violin that reads on the inside Antonius Stradivarius Cremonensis Faciebat Anno 1721 on the inside. The outside is good condition with no cracks just some wear for how hold this violin is.
