Lovely German "Imperial" Violin <stevebulmer@gmail.com> - Surrey, BC Canada - Tuesday, May 09, 2006

This violin was probably made in Germany at the turn of the century in a cottage factory. The wood is very nice and it has a beautifully grained one piece back. We named it the "Imperial" violin because that is the only identification on it and it is engraved into the scroll. Our luthiery replaced the bridge, the sound post, the fingerboard, end pin, chin rest, tail piece, pegs and strings. The original finish has been cleaned and polished. The violin is like when it was new. More pictures and information are available. Price is 3750 USD.
