Karl Knilling 4/4 student violin. Bought brand new in 1994 for $1,000. In very good condition, few nicks in the wood, but does not affect the sound quality. Tone quality is excellent for a student violin. All strings have been replaced. I have no need for this one anymore as I have bought a concert violin. Case, bow, and shoulder rest are included. 4/4 used violin labeled "Ton-Klar the Dancla made in Germany expressly for William Lewis & Son, No. 126". The company web page http://www.williamlewis.com describes as "The Dancla WL126E a preferred instrument by educators for advancing students". German handcrafted in the Stradivarius pattern, featuring a spruce top with maple back and ribs. Attractively shaded a brown-amber spirit varnish finish. Except normal use, it is in excellent condition with a new brazilwood horsehair bow, a new set of synthetic strings, 4 fine tuners and a new soft case. Sound is really beautiful. $240 plus $15 shipping. Pictures are available.
