I've become extremely interested in violins and violas, but don't have a lot to spend. I am very good at fine woodwork, and is probably the only way for me to get a decent instrument. It's a 16" Otto Benjamin, made in 2002 for Eastman Strings, with a ferocious sound from bottom to top, an unusually clear C string, and a BEAUTIFUL sounding G and D. Viola is housed in an adjustable Concord case with burgundy velvet lining ($330 retail), and comes with a great fully-lined pernambuco bow made by Eastman's own in-house master bowmaker ($350 value). Viola alone has an appraised value of $2,195 (certificate included), and is mounted with beautiful rosewood fittings. Photographs available!

Good smooth player this one! One of the old high arched fluted f-hole Steiners that you seldom ever see.Branded on the back.Very good tone and response.As quick a fiddle as you"d ever want to play.If you are a fiddler you know what I mean.Several cracks all are repaired and dont seem a issue and they just add personality to it.Nice rich brown varnish and a well flammed back.No buyers from overseas especially the UK.Sorry dont even try.650.00 plus shipping with a geib case and vintage bow
