3/4 Halo Violin Outfit (#2074) purchased from Potter's Violin Shop in Bethesda, MD in Aug. 2003. Includes violin, DSW lightweight case, and wood bow. We bought this violin for $500 (using rental credit). The violin was only used once or twice and is definitely in "new" condition because my son stopped lessons almost immediately after we received the instrument. This instrument was handcrafted in Beijing specifically for Potter's Violin Shop. This is a quality instrument. I'm asking $400. See pictures at the linked site.

This is a full sized 1965 EH Roth violin in excellent condition with nice tone. It comes with leather covered rectangular hard case and a good old German Pernambico bow and comes with a certificate of authenticity from the EH Roth company dated January, 1965. Inside the violin is Antonio Stradivarius Cremonenfis, Ficiebat Anno 17". There is a mark of a circle with a plus sign at the top and an A and an S all within the circle. This violin is described as a "Strad copy" violin made in a cottage factory before the 20th century. It also has a stamp "Orme Conservatory Violin". I can find nothing that helps identify where this stamp was added or if it is original or added later. It is fully reconditioned and ready to play or add to your collection. Price is $1350. Knilling 4/4 Violin, model 10KF, still has 'shop adjusted' string wrapper on tailpiece. Four Buschmann fine tuners, D'Addario strings?. Comes with Brazilwood/horsehair bow (unsure of brand, may be Glasser) Brown canvas-covered case w/hygrometer, holds two bows and has tube for extra strings. Also includes case straps, rosin, pitchpipe. Pocket on outside of case for extra storage. I chose another violin for myself, can't return this to the store since they went out of business. Retail lists on www.knilling.com for $1200-$1500. Can afford to part with it for $1100/o.b.o. Never played, still in pristine condition! Gotta sell ASAP!
