From the pre-war Ernst Martin workshop in Saxony, this Strad model is in unusually fine condition. Absolutely no cracks, repaired cracks or other damage -- guaranteed. Original lustrous brown finish with beautifully flamed one piece back. The instrument has a refined, well balanced tone, a pleasure to play. 6 vintage and antique violins. There are 3 Strad copies. One says it was made in Paris but we think it was made in Germany like the other 2. One is a Canadian violin with a tag dated 1932 from a Luthiery in Montreal. The other 2 have no markings but wood indicates German made. All need to be reconditioned and set up. All need a new sound post as I knocked it down to ship via air with collection (see website). All can be made playable with little expense and a little TLC. I can send pics via e-mail. The file has 5 to 6 pics for each violin. Price is $3000 for the 6. All can be made into nice student violins worth $800 to $1500 each

Our school has started an after-school strings program with overwhelming response. We have 14 instruments for 20 students. We need a 1/2 size cello, one full size and several 3/4 violins. We have a limited budget, but don't want to turn these students away. Get those student instruments out of the closet and call us!
