This is a violin from the workshop of Heinrich Th. Heberlein Jr. The label reads as follows: Made in the atelier of Heinrich Th. Heberlein jr. Markneukirchen 1924. A beautiful violin, reddish/orange/brown in color. Two piece nicely flamed back and flamed sides. some dings and scratches and only one small crack by the saddle. A beautiful violin with a nicely flamed one piece back and nicely flamed sides. I think its a reddish brown varnish. Only one very small crack on the top, right next to the nut and a chip at the scroll by the outer "A" peg. Label reads as follows: Lud. Heberlein Markneukirchen No.1001 Style III Anno 1928 with a Star of David. There seems to be what I believe is rosin buildup on the top. I can send pictures via email. Comes with original Kay bow just professionally rehaired by lahbows.com. The black mongolian horse hair was used in keeping with the original. Also comes with case in fair-good condition. Pictures available. I would prefer to meet the buyer in New England so the bass does not have to be shipped. If shipped the soundpost will be down and bridge off to protect them. Thanks
