This is a full size violin that has a beautiful one piece flamed back. It is in very good, almost new condition. The violin is unlabeled. It has a good tone that is very strong. It is not high pitched or tinny sounding, the tone is deep. I think this violin would be great as a step up violin for an intermediate to advanced player who needs a better violin, or for a beginner who wants to start out with a nice violin. The tone is still developing as I'm playing it more, so please see my website for more information and pictures. I will keep it updated. Price is $425.00 I will also include a new lightweight case.

Handmade violin made for the Violin Society of America Convention in 1998. The top is even, medium grain spruce. The neck, ribs, and back are highly figured maple. The back is one piece. The varnish is a red-even amber color. The fittings are Hill style Boxwood. The violin is labeled Lisle Violin Shop with registration number. The condition is almost new with just a little varnish worn from a few edges. The tone projects well and is well balanced.Comes with written appraisal for $2000.
