I bought a Sam Shen cello model SC100 for my daughter three months ago and now she has absolutely given it up. It was set up in Rochester at the actual distributor and plays really nice. It has all ebony fittings and is set up with prim strings. The cello comes with a bag. Sorry she broke the bow. I paid $825.00 and I can let it go for $625. I am unsure about shipping so I am going to say $25.00 since it has to be packed well to ship. Serious inquiries only. Thanks everyone. G.A.Pfretzschner 3/4 Size Double Bass, in excellent condition, maker's label in interior. One small separation at bottom (Lemur Music estimates $150., simple repair - I just don't have a luthier in my area.) Beautiful finish, no deep scratches or gouges. Nice warm tone; but haven't played it recently, and it will need new strings and a tune-up. Purchased in 1976 from Peter Spring, Bass Instructor at Interlochen Arts Academy (Michigan). This full size violin is in excellent condition. The pegs turn nicely, bridge is well fitted, and the violin is ready to play! It has a beautiful one piece flamed back, the neck is well done. The violin is light and well balanced when played and the tone is warm. This is an excellent step up violin for the student who is tired of tinny sounding violins, and would be great for the intermediate to advanced player. The sound is better than most $1000 violins.
