Recently inherited Norwegian Hardingfele (Hardanger) violin four string over/under. Fashioned by Gunnar Helland 1864 - tagged inside. Recently restored to excellent condition by Ron Poast, Black Earth, Wis. Fingerboard and tail piece have mother of pearl inlay. Scroll is a carved dragon's head. Superior sound. Except few scratches, the violin is in excellent condition, and ready to play with 4 fine tuners, a new brazilwood horsehair bow and an excellent hardshell case.
