Copy of a copy of a J.B. Guadagnini (marked Guadagnini on label). German violin made around 1900. Great condition (ready to play). Unique features: Mellow, warm tone and body is slightly longer than average. Ideal for someone who dislikes very bright or brash sounding violins (like me!). Back: 2 pieces curly maple; sides & neck: maple; top: spruce; yellow varnish. Pictures available upon request. Sold in person only (cash): $1250. Two appraisals available for you to read. Beautiful 1 piece-back violin by Vasile Gliga. It has a warm, carrying sound and is very responsive. New bridge, & dominant strings. Made of flamed maple with ebony fittings. Bow is an antique, permanbuco with an ebony frog and mother of pearl eye. Case is a Musafia, a top of the line maker. Water resistant exterior, green velvet interior. Built inside is a string tube, hygrometer (measures the humidity) and a humidifier. Included is a Kun shoulder rest, tuner, heavy plastic mute, & new set of Obligato strings. I paid 1700 for the violin, case-300, bow-500. Asking 1000 OBO. Can meet locally for trial. Email for pics.

This is an older violin that is highly flamed and beautiful. It is setup with new strings right now, but it needs a soundpost fitted. With that inexpensive repair the violin will be ready to play away. It has a label that says Antonius Stradivarius Cremonenfis Faciebat Anno 1721 where #21 was written in Ink. There is a stamp on the same label with the letter A and S plus a catholic cross sign. Price is $150.00 and that includes a hard case.

It looks GREAT on its stand in the living or music room! Solid wood carved spruce top and flamed maple sides and back. Caspari tuners. Includes deluxed heavily-padded gig bag, 2 bows, and stand. Luthier said it'd be worth $3K if it had no cracks. All cracks are repaired. (Cracks are proof of solid wood, not laminated!) This is a fine instrument for the advanced student. $1900/OBO.
