I am looking for a cello that might need some repair. I don’t want a new "student" instrument as they just don’t sound the same as older instruments. If the cello needs case, bow, and strings then it isn't a problem. Small scratches in the finish are fine, no gouges or cracks please. Please email a picture and detailed description. I am only looking to spend $100 or so as I am a "poor college student". Thank you very much!

A beautiful violin with a nicely flamed one piece back and nicely flamed sides. I think its a reddish brown varnish. Only one very small crack on the top, right next to the nut and a chip at the scroll by the outer "A" peg. Label reads as follows: Lud. Heberlein Markneukirchen No.1001 Style III Anno 1928 with a Star of David. There seems to be what I believe is rosin buildup on the top. I can send pictures via email. This is a beautiful 16.75" John Osnes viola, made in Alaska. It has a deep, rich tone and plays evenly across the strings. I used it as my primary instrument while I was a college student majoring in viola performance, but have since bought another one, and cannot keep both! Cost is $4000 plus shipping.
