Interesting and enjoyable, early 20th century, full-size Czech VIOLIN. Thoroughly gone through by a good luthier; well set up and sound. Great repairs on top cracks making it solid, with no buzzes or rattles. The fingerboard was also shimmed and the neck was re-set. New Hill-style tailpiece; original chinrest. Unique, precision machine tuners (a la string bass) with ivory buttons, really makes tuning easy. Comes with brand-new oblong case that has all the luxuries: ribboned bow holders, 3 pockets, hygrometer, blanket, shoulder straps; and decent bow with a full head of hair. Sell for $350.00. Pre-1900, French BASS BOW made by Matthews; Pernambuco stick; screw is hand-forged; weight 143.2 grams; hair-line crack in the top of the stick which does not affect performance. New tip, grip, eye and re-hair. Comes with a nice little bow case, the kind that you can leave in your bow pocket and opens from the end. Velvet lined and well-made, with shoulder strap.
