It is a very nice violin! It has beautiful wood on the front, with a flamed one piece back, and a very pretty scroll. It is setup with high quality fittings and the pegs are fitted so that it stays in tune. The tone is very nice and would be suitable for intermediate and advanced players. The label doesn't say where, but it is not a Chinese violin. It is in excellent condition and is very beautiful. It is very well made with a lovely antique finish. It has an excellent setup and is easy to play. It has a good medium voice with nice overtones and a quick response that makes it a joy to play. This would be a good violin for intermediate and advanced students who want a high quality violin. It comes with a beautiful oblong case and a bow.
