I have a 1994, USA made Hermann Beyer violin, full size. The Hermann Beyer company is listed in music catalogues right alongside Glaesel and Sherl & Roth. It is 4/4 size, model E201/4. Gently used, a little wear around the corners, but in excellent condition with an attachable shoulder rest, bow, resin block, hard case, polishing cloth, and a full set of steel strings. I'm selling my mint condition Derwent Angier Violin. It is a beautiful instrument and has a warm full tone. I purchased it back in 1995 from the Guarneri House for $9500.It was recently appraised at $12,500. Derwent Angier is a German violin maker and apparently resides in New York. The previous owner before me was Dave Prudon, the Associate Concertmaster of the Grand Rapids Symphony. I used to be a soloing violinist, but gave it up for a different career.
