This is a nice violin that is very beautiful with a well flamed one piece back. It is a full size Shang Soloist violin that was made in 2004. It would be excellent for the intermediate and advanced level players. It is in excellent condition and comes with a nice oblong case and bow for $525.00

Appraised by Carlo Badalamenti & Sons: “ Having examined this violin I find that it is a full size and was made in the year of 1912 by O. L. Fraser of Saginaw Michigan. It is well made of a fine selection of Spruce top and Maple sides. The color of the varnish is two tone brown. The scroll is made from curly maple as well as the neck and heel. The fingerboard is of a good selection of Ebony. The back is made in two pieces of Maple. I place the value of this violin at $1500.00.” Violin is actively played. The violin was originally purchased from Shar for $1200.00 It does not have a label, but we were told that it was made in 2001. This violin is un-named, but truly gorgeous. It was re-built & fitted with new pegs to the satisfaction of a player of 38 years. The sound is very warm, non-tinny, and the patterning on the back is marvelous. I strongly focus on the sound when dealing with fiddles, but this one looks as pretty as it sounds.
