Hand carved and oil varnished Carpathian resonance spruce and maple. Hand inlaid purfling. All accessories (fingerboard, pegs, tailpiece, and chinrest) are ebony. Made in 2002, my daughter played it for a year. Still in excellent (but not quite new) condition. Comes with a "Premiere" brand fiberglass and carbon bow and a hard case. A quality instrument. This is a pretty violin with a very nice voice. It has light flaming on the back and is in good condition. It sounds sweet with ringing notes. It has a nice medium volume, not too loud or too quiet. Excellent violin for intermediate players, it's easy to play, comfortable, and sounds great! It will come with a nice case, and a bow. This violin is worth around $1,000 new. Ful size antique German violin, about 70-80 years old, labeled "copy of Antonius Stradivarius Cremonensis, Faciebat Anno 1721, Made in Germany, Handmade BKN". The total length is 23 1/4, body 14, low bout 8, and upper 6 1/2 inches, respectively. There is no repairs, and ready to play. It has a new set of Pirastro Tonica string, a new pernambuco full-mounted horsehair bow, and an oblong suspension case.
