Seeking inexpensive violin <willrothrock@msn.com> - Denver, Co USA - Sunday, May 23, 2004
I am very eager to learn the violin but have limited funds. I am not looking for anything special, just something that sounds ok and is not broken. I also need a bow and case and would like to purchase the entire package for about $150. I will cover shipping. If you could help me out it would be much appreciated.

This violin is in excellent condition and is only a few years old. It includes a bow, an extra set of dominant strings, and very nice velvet, light weight case. If you are interested and would like to see pictures please email. The asking price is $1200.

This German made, hand crafted Knilling violin is about 9 years. It includes a bow and a hard shape case. It had a few scratches on its surface, but they have been repaired. Email if you are interested and would like to see pictures. The asking price is $250.

This is a beautiful 4/4 violin bow for semi-professional or professional. It is stamped "HERRMANN", a famous bow maker family. The shaft is round and made of the finest beautifully figured Pernambuco. It has an ebony frog,fully mounted in silver, along with silver wire winding, and mother of pearl which is extremely exquisite. Its weight is approximately 62.2 grams,and balance point is about 10.2" from the end of the button, and produces a powerful, broad and rich tone. I am asking $400 plus $15 shipping (USA buyer only). A good pernambuco violin bow marked "Vigneron" on the shaft. Very nice, very well made stick but NOT Vigneron. A little on the light side so want to sell as is spare for professional.
