Beautiful old french violin, ca late 1800s. Label - JB Vuillaume. Varnish worn from age, but definitely french. I cannot guarantee authenticity beyond country of origin, but every expert I have shown this to agrees that it is french, late 1800s. Newly set-up by a well-known local luthier. New pegs, tailpiece, soundpost, Aubert Deluxe bridge with parchment over E-groove, Evah Pirazzi strings, freshly planed fingerboard. Ready to play in any venue. Sound even and smooth in all registers and across all strings. Good mellow tone with excellent projection. Professional level instrument. Good case included. 1650.00 including ship/ins.

I am selling a lightly used student violin. It is made by Karl Knilling, it is a 4/4. In 1997 it was purchased for $500. Made in West Germany in the 1950-60. Recently setup by a reputable luthier over $150 costs that include cut-to-fit bridge, new Helicore strings, new sound post,reapir of a 1/2" crack on the F hole toward rib, Whittner compsoite taipiece w/ 4 fine tuners. Older violin. Don't know a lot about it other then the label inside has a hand written name on it and indicates it was made in germany. It is set up for a left handed player as the base bar, sound post and strings indicate. Comes with bow and older case. Pictures available on line at request.
