3/4 Larger Violin or Small 7/8 <yenniepri@hotmail.com> - Byron, MN USA - Sunday, September 12, 2004
3/4 larger or smaller 7/8 1926, William Knox, Utica, NY. Outstanding violin with a big, deep, dark rich sound. This violin has most 4/4 violins beat in sound. It's equivalent to 4/4 violins ranging in the $12,000-15,000. This instrument is exceptional and the only reason we are selling it is because my daughter is outgrowing it. The violin was purchased from Reuning Brothers Violins, Boston, Mass. This violin is considered a professional model. We are asking $3500 and that includes the violin, pernambuco bow, and case. Will only sell in "USA" and a wire of money to my bank!

Desperately seeking 1/2 violin for 11 year old <katyafaeriedragonmoon@yahoo.com> - MN USA - Wednesday, September 08, 2004
My son started 6th grade this month. I need a violin! We just need a basic one that he can learn on. I've been searching high and low. I don't know enough about violins to buy on ebay and the stores here either have a waiting list or I need to have good credit (which unfortunately I don't). I can pay via paypal and am hoping someone out there has an instrument they no longer use or require. Thank you so much.

4/4 Size Beautiful, well cared for, with rich tone; a violin created in the early to mid-1800's. The extra scroll tells me that it is a copy of the Paolo Magini Breicia Violin's made in the 1600's as it says on the inside of the violin. This Violin is serialized #3853. The tan leather case with gold interior and gold blanket are also in excellent condition. Beautiful wood grains and a beautiful sound, strung with Dominant string. Yani's Violinist has seen this violin and played it, afterward expressing that it was a "such a wonderful violin" I can provide photographs upon request. Will only sell within the United States >> $2,500
