I previously listed this as a violin, but it is a viola which belonged to my aunt. It is labeled William Lewis & Son, Chicago, Ill. Germany No. 252315. The bow is not in good condition, and neither is the finish on the viola. Sound is good.

An English Viola by HOWARD LESTER STYLES. Made in 1980 and made in his workshop in Bath (England). I am viola player and this is my spare instrument. Back length is 16 and 3/16 inch. Beautiful one piece back and brilliant good tone. It has been played on a regular basis. Recently serviced by Ealing String in London. I have a very old violin; inside it has a paper that reads NICOLAUS AMATUS fecit in CREMONA 1630. With the violin, I have a case it is in, 2 bows, the first bow has the Roman #4 and the word BACSCH, the second has XVI on it. All serious inquires would be considered.
