1 Beautiful violin bow by *Josef Sandner* <vintage2work@yahoo.com> - Auburn , Wa USA - Sunday, June 22, 2003
I've played the violin for 10 years and so has my uncle for many of years. He used to collect very high-end bows so I inherited five of his twenty. Josef is known for really high-end craftsmanship. The bow that I am selling has never been used or maybe once or twice! What makes this bow so beautiful is the silver engraving on the screw and the frog. The frog has birds eye inlay of mother of pearl and has silver liner around the pearl. Once played you will fall in love with. The wood has that light but strong play to it. Works well with playing staccato. I feel bad giving this one up but I can only keep so many. Interested! 939-488

3/4 size Karl Knilling copy of Stradivarius Model from 1732 - actually made in Germany probably in the 1960's or 1970's. I got it heavily used in 1981. Was probably used in a school at one time. Finish is worn and has some blemishes. Body itself is in fine shape (no cracks or chips) and tone is very good. Needs strings. Comes with a hard case (quite worn, but sturdy) and bow. Will sell for $75 plus shipping. Please e-mail for photos.
