Ferdinando Alberti made in Mailand Italy 174?. A very estimated dealer sold this violin 50 years ago as a Carlo Ferdinando Landolfi. It has ever since been regarded as a Landolfi. Recently Charles Beare in London certified it as an Alberti and Christoph Landon in New York was amazed to see such a wonderful example of an Alberti violin. This Alberti has been played professional for decades. Emil Hjorth & Sons violin shop in Copenhagen, has taken care of the violin every year. Alberti is a good buy from every point of view.
