Great Sounding Vintage Amati Violin <R1Goodman@aol.com> - Kennesaw, GA USA - Wednesday, November 20, 2002 This violin should be in the hands of the excellent player who perhaps can't or won't spend thousands of dollars on a vintage instrument. I was going to use it for my backup instrument, but I would never play it, so better it is in the hands of someone who will. Very sweet and penetrating sound. The violin is labeled "Copy of Nicolaus Amati, Made in Germany" and is handsigned in pencil in the treble side F Hole.
